Super Eagles player, Victor Moses, has spoken out about how good the Argentine players are as they progress to the knockout stages of the World Cup.
Victor Moses, a Super Eagles forward, has said Argentina are not a strong side and the Lionel Messi-captained side could struggle in the course of the World,Cup.
Argentina had endured a torrid start to their World Cup campaign after picking just one point from two matches and they needed to beat Nigeria to stand a chance of progressing in the competition.
They achieved their aim three minutes to the end of their encounter with the Super Eagles on Tuesday when defender Marcos Rojo scored a late winner to give them a 2-1 victory on Tuesday.
According to New Telegraph, the Chelsea winger, Moses said although the Argentine side was packed with experienced players which they used to beat the Eagles they were not spectacular and might not survive against another strong side in the competition.
“They’re a good team but it’s not like they beat us 4-0 or 5-0,” said the Chelsea wing-back. “They’ll find it hard. Whichever teams they play next are going to be strong so we’ll see what happens.”
